\n Cavaion Veronese<\/strong> stretches at the base of Mount Moscal (average height 191 m, highest point 438 m),
\n between Lake Garda<\/strong> and the point where the Adige River flows into the plain.
\n It is an area rich in history, nature and local traditions.\n <\/p>\n

The Ca\u2019 Nova Lake, the Archaeological Museum and the \u201cLa Bastia\u201d Archeopark<\/h2>\n

\n The origins of Cavaion Veronese<\/strong> date back to the Bronze Age<\/strong>.
\n Archaeological finds discovered in the lake of Ca\u2019 Nova<\/strong> have been dated between the end of the third
\n millennium and the beginning of the second millennium BC.
\n These artefacts are now exhibited at the Cavaion Archaeological Museum<\/strong>.\n <\/p>\n

\n On the top of Mount San Michele<\/strong> (336 m a.s.l.), overlooking the village, lies the
\n \u201cLa Bastia\u201d Archeopark<\/strong>, where the remains of a religious building dating back to the 11th century
\n can be seen. The discovery of decorated limestone fragments from the 9th century suggests an even earlier origin.\n <\/p>\n

Typical Products of Cavaion<\/h2>\n

Wine and Olive Oil<\/h3>\n

\n Cavaion is one of the six municipalities of the \u201cclassic\u201d Bardolino DOC<\/strong> wine-producing area,
\n known for its light ruby-red colour and harmonious, dry flavour.
\n Local winemakers also cultivate other grape varieties, such as Chardonnay, producing excellent white wines and
\n champenois<\/em> sparkling wines.\n <\/p>\n

\n The local extra virgin olive oil<\/strong>, with its Mediterranean character, is part of the protected area
\n supervised by the Riviera degli Olivi<\/strong> consortium, a recognised denomination of origin.\n <\/p>\n

La Fogassa<\/h3>\n

\n La Fogassa<\/strong> is a traditional cake once prepared on the grate of the fireplace using only a few simple
\n ingredients. Today it can be tasted in local bakeries and in some shops and caf\u00e9s in Cavaion.\n <\/p>\n
